Position : Electrical Protection Engineer
Perform the entire test on 132KV make equipment Measurement of the Resistance of main circuit & closing, tripping coils. Circuit Breaker Timing test. CT & PT test (Polarity, Current Ratio, Insulation resistance of secondary windings). Measurement of SF6 Gas condition (Moisture & Purity). Sequence test. Local control cubical (LCC) Test (MCB trip, Aux. relays, Anunciator,time relay, Function test, Insulation test. SF6 Gas density switch Test (Operating Pressure). Mechanical Operation test (Circuit Breaker, Disconnector & Earth switch, CB anti-pumping Test.
Testing of Different types of Aux. & lockout Relays, Transducers & digital meters. Function & Interlock checking of 13.8KV panels. Checking of SOE (Sequence of event) initiation as per Drawing. SCADA initiation, Status & analog points Checking. Protection, Instrumentation, testing and commissioning of protection System (CTs, PTs, Transformer, Circuit breakers, Relays) of 500/220/132/11kv switchgear. Fault analysis/Diagnose, troubleshooting of electrical control and protection. Design of protection Schemes (AC/DC).
