Experience :
(i) No. of Years Experience Required: At least 25 yrs.
(ii) Desired/Preferred Area of Skill Set:
• The person should be a part of the senior management
team and in a leadership position for the execution and
development of coal based thermal Power plant.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of installation,
erection, testing and commissioning of coal based Power
Projects.
• Should have been associated with coal based Thermal
Power Plant from concept to commissioning.
• Analytical ability, Time management, Inter-personal
skills
• Good leadership qualities & effective verbal and
written communication skills
• In case of Orissa and Chhatisgarh projects, experience
of Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion (CFBC)
technology bases Power Plant is preferable.
• In case of Rajasthan Project, experience of Pulverised
Fired ( PF) combustion technology based Power Plant of
more than 500 MW is must
Age : Around 50 yrs.

Job Responsibilities & Accountability (Strategic,
Operational, Financial, People, etc)
I. The positions are based at respective sites.
II. Overall installation, erection, testing and
commissioning of Power Plant as unit head as per the
planning with a team of managers & engineers
III. Responsible for pre implementation work associated
with coal based Thermal Power Plant.
IV. Responsibility also includes liaison with local
authorities and local district administration.
V. Development of Site organization.
Interface with Key Internal Customers

III. CFO- Infrastructure/Power
IV. Project Engineering, Corporate monitoring, HR and
other supporting function Heads.
Interface with Key External Agencies (Suppliers,
